Yellow Roses

Hello lovely friends ~

I'm on my way to New Zealand today.  I'm looking forward to taking a trip down memory lane as I haven't been back to the north island for many years.  I have a number of stops on my list and hope to share some piccies with you when I return.

Here is another card I made recently.  It doesn't show well in the photo but I've used the PTI linen impression plate for a little texture on my CAS card.  Love the splash of colour the roses give.

Although it's never nice to attend a funeral, particularly of someone very dear like my gran, I am looking forward to seeing a number of my relatives.  Many of us are scattered about the world these days and so don't have the opportunity to get together often.  Always the way...weddings and funerals.

Lovely of you to stop by today, thanks as always for your support and generous comments.

  1. Hi Patrice. Beautiful yellow roses and leaves ... and love how you've fussy-cut them and popped them up for added dimension.

It is comforting that your family will be together to share fond memories of your gran.

  5. Just gorgeous P. I love anything with roses and especially yellow.
Enjoy your time with family, even though your reason for being together is not the happiest. xxx

  6. Now you are just showing off !! Perfect CAS and stamping - my favourite.

Enjoy seeing your extended family. It is a sad fact about funerals but it is the best way to catch up with family in one place. All my family are in Victoria so it is the only time I see my cousins.

  7. Thats a stunning card Patrice. I have been watching about the fires in your country on tv. Must be very frightening and I hope you and your family are safe.
