Just Add Ink 343 - Blog Hop - Just Add Pop Up &/or Interactive Cards

Happy January blog friends ~

I'm ashamed to say that it's been too long.... Christmas crept up on me, as it has a habit of doing now that I'm a busy mum of three.  The lead up was incredibly busy with Gorgeous Kid finishing high school, formal, awards presentation, graduation ceremony and the like....the twins finished up at preschool and with that came a concert, a party and numerous other activities to attend.  It was quite a juggle.  Family Christmas was at our house this year so we decided to go all out and host a few different parties in the weeks beforehand.  It was a very social, and enjoyable time despite all the work involved.

After the crazy of Christmas all three children ended up going away interstate on holidays with cousins, and grandparents respectively.  Well did we unwind - so much so that NOTHING happened for that week.  We didn't cook, nor did we need to clean house, wash clothes... I ended up reading three novels and taking regular afternoon naps - pure bliss!  I had hoped to craft, but really wasn't in the mood since I was being so lazy... the new year came around quietly for us.

So belatedly I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, and that 2017 is an extra happy one for you.

At Just Add Ink we always like to start the year off with a blog hop to showcase the first challenge of the year. Today we are adding Pop Up &/or Interactive Projects

You may have arrived from my gorgeous friend Nikki's blog, or you can begin the blog hop here or at any of the other design team members blogs. There are 14 stops, and it's set up in a loop so it doesn't matter where you start.  All you need to do to follow along is click on the next button at the bottom of each post and you'll be taken to the next stop.  If you get stuck just head over to the JAI blog to find all the links.

I've created a Pop Up Slider Card for today.  This card was made for a sweet little girl who had her first birthday on the first day of the new year.  How special is that?

It stands open thanks to the tent fold card at back, plenty of room to write your message

Pink Pirouette, Smoky Slate and Soft Sky are the colours I've used here

Closed flat and easy to mail

Despite ALL the new goodies I have from the Occasions Catalogue I didn't use a single one here.  In fact this card uses a combination of Stampin' Up!, Papertrey Ink and My Favourite Things stamps/dies.  If you'd like more detail on how I created it, or the supplies I've used please feel free to shoot me an email.

Using the next button below will take you to Kelly's fabulous creation.  Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy the hop!

    1. Hi Jen, this card was made using a MFT die - Blueprints 28. So do a bit of a google search & I'm sure you'll find a tutorial somewhere showing how to use it. x
