Just Add Ink #246 - Just Add Giving & a Tutorial - photo heavy

Happy Boxing day morning ~

So how was your Christmas day?  Mine was just perfect!  Most of the family are interstate this year so it was a nice quiet day with a visit from dear friends, chatting, relaxing and lots of yummy food. We were lucky not to have our usual extremely hot weather, instead it was a little overcast yet warm.

Brisbane was great! It was just lovely meeting BFF's little bundle of joy - he certainly is a cutie.  No bias here of course *scoff*.

This is our last Just Add Ink challenge for the year, and it's only fitting that Mae suggested we add Giving.  This current challenge will run for two weeks over the Festive Season while the design team take a break and enjoy family and friends at this special time of the year.  That means you have lots of extra time to get busy creating. Head over to JAI for some inspiration.  We'll be back in January with a brand new blog hop challenge.

I've made some money wallets - cash always looks better when it's dressed up a little don't you think?

Pink Pirouette and the pic below shows the inside.

Coastal Cabana (excuse the wonky ribbon - I was in a mad rush trying to photograph as we've had really dull weather lately)

One for a girl and one for a boy!

Here is a quick tutorial if you'd like to make a few of your own.  Be gentle this is a first for me ;)

If there is anything you need clarification on please leave a comment or shoot me an email and I'll get back to you asap.  See you for our next challenge in January if not before.

  1. Heya lovely. So glad to hear you had a lovely Christmas day! Love your nifty cash wallets just perfect to make the gift something special and your tutorial was awesome - really clear and helpful!! xxx

  2. These are so cute P, definitely makes cash more decorative..:0) love the tutorial too! Will be visiting this idea for sure. xx
Your Christmas day sounds like perfect celebration to me...Relaxed and fun! xx

  3. So happy to hear you had a wonderful Christmas Day. It was extremely hot here so there was lots of eating and swimming going on. Then it was board games and off to bed, especially for Phoebe (my 9yr old daughter) who did sleep at all on Christmas Eve...too much excitement but it also mean't that I didn't sleep either so we were both happy and exhausted. I love your cash wallets, such a brilliant idea instead of just putting the cash into a card, will definitely try these out for up-coming birthdays!!! We are off to the beach in a minute, car is packed all ready to go and of course my husband decided it was a good time to have a shower....why do men do that??????

  4. Wow these are gorgeous Patrice. Love the bright colours and sparkle.

  5. Hi Patrice, your cards are stunning! I love the layout and contemp colours with the touch of glitter, very stylish! Happy New Year x
