Just Add Ink #201 - Just Add a Colour Combo

Yay for Friday ~

I'm off to get my hair cut and coloured today, and not before time because my greys are seriously taking over!

It's challenge time over at Just Add Ink and this week we have a colour combination courtesy of Kim.  The colours to work with are Island Indigo, Real Red, Pool Party and Sahara Sand.

I pulled out one of my favourite Paper Smooches stamp sets for this one.  A fair bit of paper piecing happening here ... I stamped the image several times, did lots of fussy cutting the various pieces and coloured the wheels with Copics.  I used Pool Party Baker's Twine and popped the Sahara Sand layer (cut using the Nestability Labels Two dies) up on dimensionals.

The design team has come up with some really cool cards for your inspiration, so pop over to JAI and check them out, then join the challenge fun.

The weather has cooled a little this week so it's been really pleasant.  The heat wave temps were getting A LOT too much!  I have nothing exciting planned for the weekend - I'm actually looking forward to a little crafting, reading my book and generally taking it easy.  Hope your weekend is shaping up to be just as fun!
