Addicted to CAS Challenge#2 - BAUBLE

Happy Saturday evening to you ~

Phew it's been a hot few days in Canberra.  Summer is well and truly here.  Thank goodness for air conditioning!

It's our second fabulous challenge over at Addicted to CAS!  Marie is hosting this week and she has chosen the code word BAUBLE.  So ... let your imagination run wild and have fun with it.  Remember to keep your creation Clean and Simple (CAS).

I die cut a circle in a scrap of c/s and adhered to my Whisper White mat with a post it note.  With a dauber I sponged my bauble with Melon Mambo ink and then heat embossed the little snowflake from Snow Swirled with White embossing powder before spritzing all over with the Frost White Shimmer Mist.  The sentiment is from Bells & Boughs.  Love the pop of pink, don't you?  I'm all for non traditional Christmas colours.

Once again we have our wonderful sponsor and guest designer Joanna Munster from Inspired by Stamping joining us. Joanna is offering our winner a $20 GIFT VOUCHER.  Head over to ATCAS to check out all the details - please remember to follow our rules so you are eligible for the prize.  You'll find some lovely inspiration from the design team as well.

Wrist surgery update - I had the bandages removed on Thursday and get the stitches out next Wednesday.  I'm wearing a compression bandage now which is much lighter and cooler so I'm a lot more comfortable.  Physio starts next week too so I'll be putting lots of effort into that in the hope I can get good movement and range again.  Fingers crossed!

  8. Oh Patrice, I really should read my favourite blogs a little more. Take care won't you, anything wrist/ankle would have to be the worst. Luckily your a girl and can cope The last few cards I have missed are just glorious as usual, particularly love the bauble.

Completely get the hot weather - at least Canberra doesn't get too much humidity, I far prefer dry heat. But Tuesday will be our bad day I believe.

No more housework - mopping is a dangerous thing!

  9. Patrice what a gorgeous card, I too love non-trad colours at Christmas and this is just gorgeous. Cant image what it feels like to be making them in the summer though lol although we did have 23 degrees here yesterday in Greece ! Hope your recovery will be quick and you will soon be able to get back to normal.

    Take care

    Marie
