Hi and happy Friday friends ~
This week over at Just Add Ink Paula set us the challenge to add 'fussy cutting' to our projects. There was a fair bit of cutting in my flower layers. Lots of fun!
I've gone with a Crumb Cake base, layered Basic Black c/s and some Love Letter dsp on top and inked my flowers in Pumpkin Pie. They've had the Champagne Shimmer Paint treatment too *smile*.
Head over to JAI and check out the inspiration this week. Hope you'll join us for some 'fussy cutting' too.
I love the colour combo that you have used. Such an elegant looking card.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I, too, love the colours you chose to use on this card. Gorgeous card, love xx
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous Patrice, I love the brightness of the pumpkin pies against the DSP, and I love the flowers layered, a lovely card.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful Patrice, and the colour combo is stunning!
ReplyDeleteLove the focus on this card with your fussy cut flower in that striking colour.
ReplyDeleteWow love that pumpkin flower and how you've so cleverly used the DSP pattern. Stunning result!

Love the layers on the flowers and the background centred perfectly for the flower. Just stunning.

A very striking card Patrice, your pumpkin flower is a stunner, beautiful use of the DSP too.
ReplyDeleteI love how you have combined the DSP with the layered flower. A super duper job with all that fussy cutting.
ReplyDeleteOhh love the sparkles on the flower!!!! Such a great card, it's really different to the norm :)
ReplyDeletePatrice, I don't have that set anymore. I had used it so much on my scrapbooking pages that I just couldn't use it anymore but I still love seeing those Petal Pizzazz flowers. Your card is soooo stylish.
ReplyDeleteThank you also for your lovely comments on my Blog. I don't get many comments so yours are always welcome & appreciated, & always put a smile on my face. You know just the right things to say.
Thank you for sharing your work and for taking the time to look at mine. :)
