Hi and happy Friday friends ~

This week over at Just Add Ink Paula set us the challenge to add 'fussy cutting' to our projects. There was a fair bit of cutting in my flower layers. Lots of fun!


I've gone with a Crumb Cake base, layered Basic Black c/s and some Love Letter dsp on top and inked my flowers in Pumpkin Pie. They've had the Champagne Shimmer Paint treatment too *smile*.

Hi ho ~

Super quick one from me this evening. I love the Colour Combo over at Inspirations this week and just had to make time to join in. I've combined these pretty colours with the Paper Players Sketch ... which left little to think about lol.


My pic is a little over exposed so I don't think you can see the Blushing Bride dsp layered on the BB c/s, which I zig zagged on my fancy sewing machine (courtesy of BFF this past Christmas). I've sprayed Champagne Shimmer Paint on the flowers for a little gloss - I love that stuff!

Gee I'm getting behind in blog posts. Biggest issue lately is that my shiny new laptop has been back at the shop for a week! It's been doing horrid things with my data so hopefully it's an easy fix and I'll have it back again soon. Meantime I can't email anyone because I've got no contacts and my time on a computer is limited at best.

Anyhoo it's Just Add Ink challenge time again. It's a Colour Challenge from the ever lovely Tania this week. Check out these gorgeous colours.
I've gone with my trusty Vintage Vogue set - it's still one of my top favourites. And I even pulled out the sewing machine ... finally I know BFF is thinking *smile*

Oh oh oh and I nearly forgot to say that I'm soooo looking forward to seeing lots of you at Convention (in Canberra) next year. I skipped it this year as had planned a holiday home to Christchurch for May (until the earthquake changed my plans). I'm going to drag BFF along to join in all our fun! Yay!

Happy Mothers Day to all you special mums!

I have been seriously short of creativity lately. Most bits and pieces I've played with have ended up in the bin. I've managed to make a few nifty embellies, but they're put aside for another time.

I have this one to show you using a black crocheted flower that I made some time ago. Can you see that little bit of seam binding poking out the bottom? I thought it brightened up an otherwise stark black and white card.


Can you tell I've got a new toy? BFF bought me a light tent. Now this is the first time I've used it and it was late at night with only my OTT nearby. Not bad huh. I'm sure I'll get better at using it. I love that it has different background colours because I have no clue how to do that. In fact I am so useless with photoshop that I don't even bother putting my watermark on my pics lol.

Not sure when I'll be back, depends on the old mojo. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
