Just Jawing

Hi & happy Saturday ~

A beautiful bright sunny day here in Canberra, it's got a real Spring feel about it. Makes me want to get out in my long neglected garden.

I have some cards that I made with the now retired Just Jawing set which I absolutely love for boys birthday cards. Gorgeous kid has a few upcoming parties so these were made with those in mind. I used Tangerine Tango, then Wild Wasabi followed by Real Red at bottom.

I tried to create a bit of a grunge look by making my own graffiti type background using the retired Linen stamp and one of the Trendy Trees images along with the Just Jawing stars. I tore the edge of my WW c/s all the way around and put the stamp pad direct to the c/s for a bit of a messy look. I think overall they look a little haphazard and will probably suit their 10 year old recipient's.

Let me know what you think :o)

  1. Hey P! You've totally made me regret selling my just jawing set! These cards are just fantastic and DEFINITELY suitable for gorgeous kid's friends! Love the background you made - your too clever for your own good! lol

    Luv K

  2. If was a 10yr old boy (and thank God I'm not!) these would be one card that I'd love to receive! Very cool!!!!

  3. Love what you have done here, very cool indeed!

  4. So appropriate! What 10 yr old boy (or probably any younger boy) wouldn't appreciate this card? I know my son would! Thanks for sharing - love those googly eyes

  5. I love these cards! For a second a thought you'd stamped on actual fabric! Great job!

  6. Totally LURVE the grunge Patrice. So sorry to hear abt your wrist too!! I love my Just Jawing set and the possibilities it has. Did one for my boy recently and was soooooooo hapy with it. Will post soon. Keep up the FAB work!! Sorry I haev not been by for a while.

  7. Oh I love these. I did want that stamp set but just had no idea what to do with it. Looks like you had a great creative time with them.
