Flower Fest Birthday

Good morning ~

I made this card a few months back and stumbled across it recently when I was having a clean up of my stash. Thought I'd pop in and show you.

I've used a vellum top note and added some flower layers from the Flower Fest stamp set.  These were actually stamped on Whisper White, and then sponged with Perfect Plum and a touch of Island Indigo.  I did the same with the leaves using Pear Pizzazz.  The flowers have been spritzed with Frost White Shimmer Mist.

Other news ... I'm off to hospital tomorrow morning bright and early (ick) for some wrist surgery.  I tell you housework can be a dangerous thing!  Read my post here on how I broke it in the first place.  So I expect to be out of action for a little bit again.  I do have a few posts scheduled for the coming weeks and I may pop in to give you an update on how the surgery goes - if I can master left hand typing again lol.

Thanks for stopping in today and enjoy your week!

  5. All the best for you. Patrica
I remember many years ago I have had an accident and can't use my right hand.
I was unable to open a bottle. I have to simulate it with my right hand to realize in which direction I can open this bottle ;)
I wish you really all the best - not only for this day - hopefully all get well.

warm wishes around the whole wide world => from Austria to Australia :-)
