Happy Monday!
Surprise surprise I'm back to show you some little Easter Treat Boxes. A friend asked if I could put a few little gift card holders together for her children for Easter. I decided that was a tad ordinary, and besides I don't actually own any Easter stamp sets. So with huge help from Pinterest here is the line up.
Using the Two Tags die, Crumb Cake and Chocolate Chip colour combo.
The Fry Box die, Pool Party and Whisper White colour combo.
A PTI Favor It Box using Baked Brown Sugar and Pink Pirouette colour combo.
The Fry Box die using Pistachio Pudding and Whisper White colour combo.
The Mini Treat Bag die, made into a box using Naturals Ivory.
So the bonus with these little gift boxes is that they'll not only hold a gift card, but a few little choccie eggs as well! Lucky kids.
If you read my last post you'll know I alluded to something special happening on Friday. It was my birthday. I had a lovely day and was extremely spoilt with loads of phone calls, text messages, FB messages and even a couple of special visitors over the weekend. We went out to dinner and two (yep two) dessert restaurants before coming home with very full tummies. In fact I was quite uncomfortable. I didn't wake feeling much better on Saturday morning either. All that sugar was sitting in the pit of my belly! It was very yummy at the time though lol. Thank goodness birthdays only come around once a year.
Back later in the week.

Just Add Ink #255 - Just Add Eggs or Ovals
Happy Friday friends ~
And Soft Sky with Island Indigo.
Gee the weeks are rolling by quickly....eeep nearly Easter! Today I'm stopping by to show you my latest Just Add Ink card - Nikki set our challenge this week to add Eggs or Ovals. I don't typically send Easter cards so I used ovals on my project/s this week. However, I have been busy making little Easter gift boxes which I'll pop back to show you in a day or two.
I absolutely love the Love is Kindness stamp. Tulips are a favourite of mine, and wrapped in a little newsprint with twine and a beautiful sentiment you just can't go wrong. Here is the Pink Pirouette, with Crumb Cake version.
And Soft Sky with Island Indigo.
I coloured both with coordinating blendies. If you'd like to join our Eggs or Ovals challenge pop over to JAI and check out all the challenge details. There are some lovely, and pretty cute design team projects to get you inspired. Don't forget to link up so we can swing by your blogs and visit.
I'm out and about today with lots of fun things to do, and I have dinner plans with my little family this evening. There could even be birthday cake involved! Tell you all about it next post.
Have a fabulous weekend!

Just Add Ink #254 - Just Add a Colour Combo
Happy Friday lovely friends ~
We have a new challenge over at Just Add Ink today. Kim has given us the colours 'Tangelo Twist, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow & Baked Brown Sugar'.
Once again my photography skills are challenged. Sorry for this over exposed pic. It's been bright and sunny in Canberra lately, not that I'm complaining, but gee it's hard to take photos.
Despite not being sure I really needed the new Mini Treat Bag Thinlits here it is! I love it, and there are so many cute little dies that come with it. I can see I'm going to have loads of fun with this one. My little package/envelope is pretty self explanatory and as I'm short on time I won't babble. If you do have any questions please shoot me an email or leave a comment and I'll get back to you.
Other news ... SU! Convention registration opened yesterday and many of the lovely JAI girls are already registered and looking forward to meeting up in person again. It's being held on the Gold Coast this year and it's the perfect opportunity to catch up with beautiful BFF and her gorgeous blue eyed baby boy - love him!
If you have some time to get inky then head over to JAI and check out the design team inspiration - there are some truly gorgeous projects this week.

Just Add Ink #253 - Just Add Inspiration
Good Friday morning ~
I popped my Basic Black card base through the Big Shot using the Large Polka Dot embossing folder before spritzing with a little Smooch for shimmer. The added panels are Smoky Slate and Whisper White. I had wanted to use Melon Mambo ink on my accents, but had to go with Strawberry Slush instead as my MM ink pad was playing silly games and not inking nicely. Have since rectified that with a brand new one!
If you'd like to play along with our challenge this week, below is the inspiration pic for you. Choose whichever elements inspire you - it could be colours, butterflies, pom poms, water....you name it, whatever you see in the pic. Head over to JAI and check out the design team projects for other ideas. There are some pretty fabulous creations this week, and I so love how we each come up with quite different designs and ideas using the same starting point.
It's time for a brand new challenge over at Just Add Ink and this week Nikki has given us a pretty funky inspiration pic to work with. Here I am playing with tilted panels again lol.

Righto well I have a busy day ahead, and I'm off to Dendy Premium tonight for a luxurious movie experience. Love that place, and love the menu/service more!
Hope you've all got an awesome weekend planned! Thanks for stopping by today.
